This wonderful cape/shawl is a fun way of playing with color and creating texture along the way. The design starts at the very top with a small tab. Stitches are picked up around the tab and each section has increases to help make it expand. The pattern is clear with yarn (Gomitolo Aida - long dye stamp wool blend and Seta Suri - Alpaca/Silk blend) and the stitch count you need at the end of each section. The side edges are set to create an I-cord edge. The small/medium size works the instructions start to finish and you will have extra yarn….about 20%. The instructions give you options to use up all of your yarns.
