This one is for the cat lovers. Perfect for a gift or to keep for yourself!

The cushion is knitted in one piece. The back has a button opening and is knitted in stripes in each yarn colour. Add some lovely buttons to add interest to the back of the cushion.

If you already have DK yarns (8 ply) in similar colours they could be used as long as they match the gauge 22 sts and 28 rows to 4” (10 cm) over stocking stitch.

The yarns I used to knit the cushion are:

1 ball - James C. Brett Top Value DK - 8411 (ginger cats and stripes)
1 ball - James C. Brett Top Value DK - 8416 (black cats and stripes)
3 balls - Sirdar Snuggly DK - Rice Pud (446) (main background colour and stripes)
1 ball - Sirdar Snuggly DK - Soft Brown (428) (light brown cats and stripes)

Yarn can be purchased from LoveKnitting by clicking on the following link:

There are large coloured charts to follow for the cats.

This is one of the many cushion knitting patterns I have available from my Ravelry Shop
