  • This children’s unisex pullover features a zippered mock turtleneck and can be knit in either 3 or 4 colors.
  • Peer Gynt yarn may be substituted.
  • Sizes are described as ranging from 4 to 14 years and range in finished chest measurement from 31.5 inches (80 cm) to 43 inches (109 cm).
  • The four color sweater requires 4-6 balls of color #1; 5-7 balls of color #2 and 2-3 balls each of the 3rd and 4th colors.
  • the three color sweater requires 6-9 balls of the first color, 5-7 balls of the second and 1-2 of the third.
  • A zipper to fit the front opening (approximately 2-3 inches or 6-8cm) is also required. The instructions note that it is easy to alter the length of a zipper of the correct length is unavailable.
  • The sweater is worked in the round to the armholes and back and forth from there to the top. The sleeves are also knit in the round. Although it can be steeked if desired, the directions call for the work to be divided and knit flat.
