A Baby's Stripe of Genius
This is NOT brioche :)
These cozy socks are knitted top down so that you can adjust the cuff and foot to desired lengths.
The ribbing is knitted with one strand of MC 4 ply yarn on the smaller (2.5mm) circular needle.
You will then switch to a larger (3.5mm) circular needle to be able to knit the colourwork pattern across all the stitches, using both MC and CC every other stitch.
For this pattern you can chose, either a self striping, or hand dyed sock yarn and pulling from the inside and outside of the same 25g cake of yarn, or for a more defined stripe using two 10g balls of contrasting colour 4ply sock yarn.
