♫ The Music ♫
Celebrating the treasure trove of Celtic musical talent from around the world, each of the Mystery KAL clue threads in our Ravelry group Impeccable Knitters Gathering Place shared a musical treat to get your needles dancing.
The Pattern
A Celtic Quilt 5 consists of 9 unique, cabled quilt blocks. Once completed, the 9 individual blocks are joined using a 3-needle bind off and the edging is knit on.
Both charts and written directions for each chart are included for each block.
Construction Notes
Each block begins with a provisional cast on and ends having completed a RS row. Sts are then picked up along each side of the block as well as from the provisional cast on to work the block border, in the round. Once the final round is complete, stitches are placed on waste yarn so blocks can later be joined using a 3-needle bind off. The edging is then knit on at right angles to the quilt.
Size
9-Block Quilt (including Edging): 74.5 x 74.5” / 189 x 189cm.
Each Block (with border): 22.5 x 22.5” / 57 x 57cm.
