Welcome to the first ever Black Sheep Wools Knitalong; A Day Out 2021!

We’ve wanted to do a Knit Along for so long and now seems exactly the right time to do it. ’A Day Out’ is the perfect project to make together. Each week takes you on a journey around the roads and villages that surround Black Sheep Wools. We will explore different knitting techniques, a little bit of local history and have lots of fun along the way. The destination is fabulous too!

The colourways are named after the local Cheshire villages of Culcheth, Croft and Winwick, whilst the squares borrow from the lanes used to travel to The Craft Barn! In these times when we can’t visit new and favourite places easily, we’ve created this beautiful project to evoke a little of the fun of a journey to visit us.

This Knit Along blanket uses aran weight yarn in three different shades.
18 sts and 24 rows to 10cm measured over st
st on 5mm needles or size required to achieve
correct tension.

We’re now shipping from the UK to Australia, Canada, Ireland, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea and USA.
