A Glacial Pace
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
This completely reversible infinity scarf/cowl was designed for my good friend to take on her Alaskan Cruise.
So often with long cowls that have a true right side and wrong side, when you wrap them twice round your neck, a good portion of the wrong side winds up on the outside. “A Glacial Pace” is a truly reversible cowl that looks equally nice when worn as an infinity scarf, or when worn as a cowl, wrapped around twice for warmth.
This cowl works up very quickly, using only 200 yards of worsted or aran weight yarn. The slightly loose gauge produces a cowl with nice drape that is warm, but not bulky or uncomfortable, even when doubled up.
I invite you to make1!
