About the design …
A Good Cigar is a traditional raglan cardigan. It is knitted from top to bottom - first with a deep edge in rib and then in the textured Bamboo stitch pattern. The shape is wide - and the length you have the opportunity to adjust as you like. A special feature is the round and ribbed edge - it looks like crochet but it is a purled I-cord edge.

Materials

TYND eco wool from www.hyggestrik.dk - light fingering weight: 306 yd (280 m)/50 g + Alpaca - lace weight: 437 yd (400 m)/50 g. The 2 yarns are held together.

TYND eco wool: 250 / 300 / 300 / 300 / 350 / 350 g
Alpaca: 150 / 200 / 200 / 200 / 250 / 250 g

32” (80 cm) circular needle size US 4 & 6 (3.5 & 4 mm)
16” (40 cm) circular needle size US 6 (4mm)
1 set of double pointed needles size US 4 (3.5 mm)
1 double pointed needle size US 3 (3 mm) for the I-cord
knitting.
Stitch markers

Gauge
Before wash: 27 sts & 28 rows in Bamboo stitch - needle size US 6 (4 mm) = 4” (10 cm).
After wash and blocking: 24 sts & 26 rows = 4” (10 cm)
