A Little Bag to Bead Knit
by Eileen Lee
Traditional bead knitting calls for a bead to be knitted into every stitch as it is worked in stockinette stitch. The design is worked on a ground of twisted or crossed stitches, which lock the beads in place on the front of the piece. Before the knitting begins, the beads are strung on the yarn in a predetermined order to create the image or images for the bag.
