A Man's Striped Silk Scarf
Anxious to tackle her gift problem early, a reader has written asking for directions for knitting a man’s striped silk scarf, also wanting to know whether her choice is a wise one. It certainly is, a knitted silk scarf can easily do yeoman service for both day and evening wear.
MATERIALS: 3oz. of cream silk and 1oz. each of three shades of green or other color - that will be 6oz. of silk altogether; also a pair of No. 7 bone needles.
