A Pair of Owlets
Designer Notes:
--one size for adult S to L, instructions for increasing size included.
--The pattern is written and needles are numbered for a set of 5 dpn’s. With any other needle number or alternate method of small diameter knitting in the round, the knitter has to make adjustments.
--It is not recommended to use a twisted ribbing in this pattern since that may reduce the stretch and recovery of the fabric.
--the M1 increases for the gusset are done between gusset markers (next to the knit gusset sts). Gusset sts are always knit; gusset increases are every 3rd round.
--After completing the prototype mittens, the mittens weighed 35g, and there was 10g left over, so it is possible to make a longer wrist ribbing and/or finger ribbing without running out of yarn. Up to knitter to estimate.
--this pattern has been tech edited and test knit.
