PRODUCT: digital hand knitting pattern for A Place In Time Cardigan.

CONSTRUCTION: This cardigan is a bottom-up construction with drop-shoulder sleeves in garter and slip stitch texture.

SKILLS: knit, purl, slip stitch, knit flat, knitting in the round, decreases, picking up stitches, german short row method, seaming for patch pockets

NOTIONS: stitch markers, locking markers for seaming, stitch holder or waste yarn for holding stitches, tapestry needle/latch hook/crochet hook for ends, measuring tape, gauge ruler if needed

NEEDLES: US 8/5.0mm circular needles long enough for the amount of CO sts, or needle size to obtain gauge.

GAUGE: 17 sts by 27 rows in 4”/10 cm, knit in the flat with both stitches garter stitch and slip stitch.

YARN: Worsted/Aran weight

Sample knit in non-superwash: Peace Fleece Worsted, 2-ply Aran. Approx. 200 yds per 4oz skein. 50% Navajo Rambouillet/30% Fine Wool/ 20% Mohair.

• Color A - Sheplova Mushroom (red)
• Color B - Latvian Lavender (purple)
• Color C - Mourning Dove (mauve)
• Color D - Sakhalin Salmon (red orange)
• Color E - Georgia Rose (pink)
• Color F - Palomino (peach)

APPROX. YARN USAGE: 1400, 1500, 1600 (1700, 1800, 1950, 2100) {2250, 2400, 2550, 2700} yards /1280, 1372, 1463 (1554, 1646, 1783, 1920) {2057, 2195, 2332, 2468} meters

SIZES: 1, 2, 3 (4, 5, 6, 7) {8, 9, 10, 11}

Choosing size based on ease:

• A Place In Time Cardigan is designed to be worn with 4”/10 cm-8”/20 cm positive ease at FULL CHEST.
• Full chest circumference is measured around the widest point of your chest.
• Example: Sample is size 5, 49”/124 cm. With my full chest at 43”/109 cm, that gives me 6”/15 cm of positive ease. I am 5’2”/157 cm tall and sample body length hits at my mid thighs.
