A RIBBED cardigan is a useful addition to any wardrobe, especially in the summer, when you can slip it on over your light frocks. The pattern for this one is both pretty and unusual, and not in the least difficult to do.
Materials. — 6 oz. Paton’s super Scotch fingering, 3-ply. A pair No. 12 and a pair No. 9 “Beehive” needles (Old UK). Eight buttons.
Measurements. — To fit 32-34-inch bust; length from top of shoulder, 18½ inches; sleeve seam, 5 inches.
Tension. — Eight stitches to an inch, measured over the pattern, patted out lightly, but not pressed.
