I wanted a shawl that didn’t use lace yarn, and was easy and fast to knit up, but yet it had to keep my interest until it was done. My Summer Fling uses garter and stockinette stitches throughout, and the color change keeps you interested. The shawl ends with an easy lace border. The shawl is 56” across the back and 26” deep.
