A Trio of Socks
These three socks were part of my work on charting and as such are presented as three-in-one. The base stitch-count is 60 stitches but all three can be made wider by continuing the toe-increases until a good count is found. These stitches can be knit plain until the ribbing (and after, but just ribbing them is prettier and makes for a more stay-uppy cuff. ^_^).
These are charted with very little text. If charting is not your thing, this pattern will not be a good fit for you. These are also all knitted toe up. One of the patterns (the green socks in the photo) can be knitted cuff down by simply turning the chart, the other two will not transfer to cuff down as easily.
I knit loosely, so take the size 0 (US) / 2.00mm with a grain of salt for your own choice of needles. Medallionweed has little stretch so you may want to go up a needle size or add stitches.
I have a fairly high instep, the gusset wedge is sized accordingly.
