The third in my set of 3 cabled hats in Tosh Vintage - made from December 2016 through January 2017. Knit in the round - bottom up, with deep brims which can be folded up, or not (for a slouch). The pattern is written and also charted, as are all patterns in the “Vintage Cables” ebook. I fussed for quite awhile to get the trees just right on this one. And of course, there are two stag horn cables to represent the deer in the forest.

So come with me on a walk in the woods - look for the deer running on the trails between the trees. Make your hat green like mine, or white to cover your woods with a blanket of snow - or choose any color you wish to show off the wonderful texture! My testers chose a variety of colors, including gray, brown, tan, red, and green, and they all came out gorgeous!
