A winter’s tale is a super-­‐warm and charming hooded cape. It is equipped with a detachable hood so that it can be worn outdoor, keeping both your head and shoulders warm, as well as indoor, for that layer of extra warmth that you really need on those cold winter mornings in the office. It will be even more perfect in the upcoming early spring days, when the air is still crisp but you want to go out and have a walk in the nature or in the city centre despite the cold breeze. The cape is seamless and it is worked in the round, whereas the hood is worked flat and then closed at the upper edge with the three-­‐needle bind off method. It is attached to the cape with three little buttons sewed inside the cape itself. The front piece is decorated by a cable motif.

A winter’s tale è una mantellina caldissima e avvolgente. Ha un cappuccio staccabile per essere indossata sia all’esterno con testa e collo riparati, sia all’interno, magari quando in ufficio fa particolarmente freddo e si ha voglia di uno strato in più per proteggerci le spalle. Sarà perfetta anche nei primi giorni di primavera, quando l’aria sarà ancora pungente, ma non vorremo rinunciare a una passeggiata nella natura o in città. È lavorata in tondo, senza cuciture, per quanto riguarda la mantella, mentre il cappuccio è lavorato in piano e poi chiuso, nella parte superiore, con il metodo dei tre ferri e si fissa alla mantella con dei bottoni cuciti all’interno di quest’ultima. Il davanti è decorato da un motivo a trecce.
