This pattern contains 3 modern interpretations of the Christmas star. I hope these stars make a colourful addition to your Christmas tree - they would also make a lovely Christmas garland! Each star is super quick to make - they don’t need a lot of yarn, so you can use up those yarn scraps. The perfect stash-busting Christmas crochet project!

• Small quantities of any DK yarn
• 3.5mm hook
• I advise blocking your stars to keep their shape and open up the stitch pattern
• SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate - Knowledge of the popcorn, puff and double treble (US treble) crochet stitches is required and there are some challenging stitch placements but hopefully the photos I’ve included will guide you through. Working with standing stitches at the start of some rounds is preferable. Written instructions can be found under the Special Stitches section.
