This snug yet stretchy hat has a ribbed brim, a textured body and a simple stitch pattern added in the crown as well, worked in between the decreases. Include a bit of contrast colour at cast on or a pompom at the end for detail.

Finished Measurements: Length: 9.25” (23.5cm), Circumference at brim: 17” (43cm) unstretched.

Yarn: 1 skein of Brooklyn Tweed Shelter (140yds (128m), 100% American wool, 50g) or approx. 140yds (128m) in Worsted weight yarn. A few yards of scrap yarn for brim if required.

Needles: US size 3 (3.25mm) circular needles or straight needles (if required) for long tail tubular cast on.
