Pay What You Can

I liked Frenchie’s (@arohaknits) model of offering different price points for a pattern to help make it more accessible to people while also giving the designer an option to get paid fairly for the work that has been put in.

I will be offering this pattern at the 3 price points shown below. While I would normally price this pattern at $8, purchases made at the higher price point will help me sustain the lowest price offer for a longer period. Thank you for your support!

To buy this pattern at a price you’re happy to pay (taxes not included), use the coupon code against it at checkout. No coupon code needed at the highest price. (Send me a message if you need any help.)

This is a top-down raglan sleeve pullover with about 4” (10cm) of positive ease at the bust and no waist shaping. It has a rolled stockinette neck, a center cable and lace panel, a cable and lace strip on the sleeves and an i-cord bind off at cuffs with a loop for a button. You can adjust the length of the sweater to go for a cropped style or work more rounds and add some length.
Sample shown in first pic is the smallest size with a finished bust measurement of 34” modeled on a 32” bust size.

Finished Bust Measurements: 34 (38, 42, 46, 50) (54, 58, 62, 66)”/ 86 (96, 106, 116, 128) (138, 148, 158, 168) cm

Yarn: 5 (6, 6, 7, 8) (8, 9, 10, 10) skeins of Brooklyn Tweed Loft (275y/ 251m, 50g, 100% wool) or 1310 (1490, 1660, 1840, 2010) (2190, 2370, 2540, 2720) yds/ 1200 (1360, 1520, 1680, 1840) (2000, 2170, 2320, 2490)m of any fingering weight yarn.
You may substitute a woolen-spun yarn in fingering weight for a similar result.

Needles: US size 4 (3.5mm) circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge. Use dpns or magic loop for sleeves.

Notions: Stitch markers: 8, stitch holders: 2, buttons: 2 (diameter: 0.5”/ 1.25 cm).

Gauge: 24 sts and 40 rows = 4” 10cm in st st
40 sts = 6” 15cm for front cable panel
(Keep a check on row gauge; else ensure you refer to the schematic for lengths. Difference in row gauge could alter raglan length as well as final sleeve length.)
