The design for this sweater was inspired by the beauty of Flat-head Lake in the early morning hours, when the mist rises into the air. The rope, braid and chain designs of the cables give the piece a nautical feel, while the honeycomb pattern ties it back to the shore. The sweater is knit in the round until you reach the underarm. It is then separated and the front and back are worked flat in separate pieces. When working in the round, always read the chart from right to left. When working the pieces flat, read the charts from right to left on the right side and from left to right on the wrong side.
