Hidden in the hills of the North Okanagan, the Aberdeen Columns are a wall of spectacular geometric basalt rising above the Aberdeen Plateau. Formed from ancient volcanic activity, these lichen covered columns are a true wonder of nature.

Worked in simple two-colour brioche rib, this squishy cowl can be worn showcasing either the elegant i-cord bind-off, or double thick, with the contrasting section folded over at the top.

| GAUGE/SUGGESTED NEEDLES |

21 stitches and 26 rounds over 4” / 10cm in brioche stitch, with smaller needles, after blocking.

A different gauge will affect finished measurements and yardage requirements.

Suggested needles: 3.25mm (US 3), or size needed to obtain gauge; AND 3.5mm (US 4), or one size larger than size needed to obtain gauge, 16–22” / 40–55 cm circular needle, or longer for magic loop
