About Time is a wide, crescent shaped shawl worked from the top down, inspired by time and how time affects us all. Seasons, time zones, age, generations, work, rest and play; these are all linked to time. Whether we are in the right place at the right time, or wrong place at the wrong time, that time appears to go quickly, or almost stand still, whether we waste time or savour time, one thing is certain, time has an enormous impact on us all.

I find it amazing how some parts of the world seem to have very little change from one part of the year to another whilst others have a monsoon or rainy season, and others have four very distinct seasons. The seasons in the north are completely opposite to those in the southern hemisphere and as we move east or west our friends exist in a different time to us even though it is the very same moment; time is fascinating.

You will find it useful to print your pattern on a colour printer.

The pattern is both fully written and charted throughout.
