There’s something magically simple about purl ridges. By throwing a few ridges here and there you get this wonderfully textured knitting using only the most simple of stitches. Worked in the round, this cowl uses a five color mini skein pack in our sport weight, Mad Hatter. Alternately, use a full size (4 oz) skein of sport for a single color version that’s a bit shorter than the cowl shown.

Yarn: Wonderland Yarns “Mad Hatter”
100% superwash merino; 1, 5 oz Mini-skein Pack, (C1-5) 430 yards, Shown in “Out of Print” color collection.

Needles & Notions: US size 6, 16”-20” circular needles or needle size to get proper gauge, 1 stitch marker, darning needle

Gauge: 21 sts & 29 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch

Measurements: approximately 26” around and 15” tall
