Pattern Notes
This asymmetric shawl is worked sideways and increases by 1 stitch every right side row along one edge only.
The simple cable pattern is worked along the straight edge. When working the front post stitch, for the next stitch, skip single crochet directly behind the front post stitch.
Handdyed yarns can be equally fun and tricky to use. Sometime the colors in the same colorway might vary from skein to skein. A tip for joining new yarn to blend the colors seamlessly is to work the skein until you have about enough yarn remaining to work two more rows. Join the new color and work two rows – do not break yarn, carry along edge. Work two rows to finish off the old yarn. Continue on with the new yarn.
