This fun and creepy pattern is perfect for children and adults alike! It is a lacy hat with spiders just above the brim and a simple lace pattern on the upper half. This hat has been categorized as an intermediate pattern due to the bobbles and the slipped stitch spider. Otherwise, the pattern is very straightforward.

You can use a heavy DK or a light worsted weight yarn for this pattern in a solid, tonal, or lightly speckled colorway. If the yarn is too variegated, you may not see the spiders as well. But, use whatever colors make you happy!

If you would like to make a smaller size than the ones listed, the pattern repeat is nine stitches. You would subtract nine stitches for each size you go down. You would still do the decrease section the same but the stitch count on the very last row might be different.

I hope you enjoy the pattern! Please email me at yarncafecreations@gmail.com if you have any questions, or you can send me a message on Ravelry.
