The Acropolis Tee is a lightweight, airy Spring/Summer knit. Its relaxed fit and minimalist aesthetic make it a versatile wardrobe staple for laid-back warmer weather days, whilst the horizontal and vertical cabled details create a sense of structure across an otherwise loose, draped garment. The drop shoulder construction adds to the laid-back style and this, combined with multiple opportunities to customise the tee’s shape and fit, ensures a comfortable, flattering top.

Sizing Guide
The Acropolis Tee is graded into sizes XS (S: M: L: XL) (2XL: 3XL: 4XL: 5XL). Recommended positive ease is 4-7” / 10-18cm at the chest.
Finished Garment Chest Circumference: 34.5” (38”: 42.5”: 46”: 50.5”) (54”: 58.5”: 62”: 66.5”) / 87.5cm (97cm: 108cm: 117cm: 128cm) (137.5cm: 148.5cm: 158cm: 169cm)

Yarn
The Acropolis has been created with Hypothesis Yarn’s Smooth Sock base in the colourway Important Ghosts.
Fingering / Sock weight yarn is required for this design and a solid, slightly tonal or lightly speckled yarn is recommended to ensure the cabled details are visible.

Gauge & Swatching
Using 3.25mm / US size 3 needles, or needle size required to meet gauge, 26 stitches over 36 rounds in stockinette stitch, blocked, creates a 4x4” / 10cm square.

Construction
For the body, there are two sets of instructions: one for working the body in the round, and one for working the body flat (in two pieces for front and back). Based on your cabled swatch and personal preferences, you can choose which set of instructions to follow.
Once the underarm is reached, the instructions are the same regardless of whether you opted to work the body in the round or flat. Front and back above the underarm are worked flat, before being joined at the shoulder seam. The neckline is V-shaped, so some of the front section is worked in two halves. Sleeve stitches are picked up around the armhole edge and short row shaping is incorporated into the upper sleeves for optimal fit.
