Across the Beach English
This lovely little shawl is like a stroll on the beach. Shells, sand and sea come together in a stunning combination. Using beads to resemble little water droplets on the shell pattern.
This pattern has been testknitted in Dutch by José and Marisca, in English by Sue and Aisling.
Thank you very much.
Yarn: the silk asks for about 320m and the Manos Lace, Jaggerspun or similar yarn: around 430m ( larger needles).
This pattern has charts for the shell patterns, the large shell pattern is also written out for support. You might run into difficulty if you cannot knit from charts. There are 8 charts.
The beads are not pre-strung. You’ll need about 125 beads, size 8/0 glass beads. Available here.
