The small size fits ages 4 to 8; the large size fits ages 9 to 12.

Upon testing with bulky yarn (instead of the double-stranded worsted), a size small yields a size large mitten.

You will need to know how to:
k2tog-knit two stitches together
p2tog-purl two stitches together
sl1, k1, psso - slip a stitch, knit and pass the slipped stitch over

Materials: Tapestry needle and two stitch holders
Notions: Ribbon or elastic cord if you choose to make the eyelets.

I would encourage you to use colorful scrap yarn in the cuff (to use up those bits and pieces in your stash).

Have fun and let me know how it goes!
