Crafty Intentions CROCHET PATTERN Add-on Tree Sprite XL Branches pattern (printable PDF-file / 70 pages)

Developed by Megan Lapp aka Crafty Intentions, this pattern is for Extra Large Tree Sprite Branches that can be used with the Tree Sprite pattern! This pattern is written in U.S. terminology. This pattern DOES NOT INCLUDE THE TREE BODY.

This pattern comes with instructions to make Extra Large Branches for use with the Tree Sprite Crochet Pattern! This pattern includes instructions for 3 Extra Large Branches that you can use with the Tree Sprite body (and arms and legs). This pattern features clear step by step instruction with a lot of row-by-row photos. The gauge is not crucial to the pattern as long as the stitches are tight enough to hold stuffing.

This pattern is a total of 70 pages containing a full set of written instructions with photographic illustrations, and there are video tutorials for particular steps and stitches available on my YouTube channel. This Pattern consists of ONE PDF File, and the last 20 pages include 17 pages of Text-Only, Printer-Friendly instructions and 3 pages of the EU Safety and Compliance Document, but I strongly recommend you still refer to the photographic illustrations throughout the pattern if you have any questions.

SIZE

A Tree Sprite with add-on branches from this pattern is approximately 39 inches from base to top of branches, 21 inches wide across the branches and 8 inches deep from front to back of the body.

SUPPLIES:
In addition to the supplies required for the Tree Sprite’s body, arms, and legs, you will also need:
Yarn, in worsted weight, all amounts are approximate: The Tree Sprite pattern requires approximately 310 yards of Tree/Bark color yarn to make one Tree Sprite, and this add-on requires an additional approximate 300 yards of Tree/Bark color yarn for the XL branches. These yardages do not include optional foliage.
Limbs: 300 yds G (4.0mm) Hook

Darning Needle

Tree Sprite (without Branches) from Crafty Intentions Tree Sprite pattern

Wire (Recommended wire is 2.5 or 3mm armature or bonsai wire)
You will need to add wire to get your Tree to stand. Err on the side of heavier wire; you will need the extra strength to hold the weight of the crochet work. The Tree Sprite requires a lot of wire (at least 36 feet/ 11 meters). Make sure you have plenty on hand before you start.
