My friend Addie was de-stashing and I picked up three skeins of this lovely wool. She has recently added Scout, a new dog, to her family and I thought I’d thank her for the yarn by designing a cowl specifically for her; full of puppies, hearts, and roses!

This cowl uses a little over half of a 50 gram/208 yrds skein for each color.

Outside design pattern is knit on size US 3, then work on the inside with US 2 2 for double warmth and fun

Start with a provisional cast on, and knit in the round, using two colors per row for the color work.

Pattern for the outside of the cowl is charted only, the inside is done in stripes and where you can be creative and decide how wide to make the stripes, or you can do what I did. (included in pattern below)
