Mystery mitten knitalong 2025
Part 1

Welcome to this year’s mystery mitten knitalong! Every Advent there will be a new part of the pattern.

In this first part you will knit both cuffs for your mittens.
The cuff begins and ends with a beautiful Latvian braid.

Material

Needles:
2,25 mm
use
DPNs or cable needle for magic loop method
Yarn:
Rauma finull or other fingering weight woolly yarn in the colours:
White, forest green beige or light brown, reddish brown and a tiny bit of black
You need approximately
50 g of white
40 g of green
20-30 g of both brown colours
Leftovers in black
Notions:
Darning needle, scrap yarn , stitch holder
Gauge:
10 cm= 32 sts x 40 rows
knitted with 2,25 mm needles and stranded knitting
Finished measurements:
25 cm long, 10,5 cm wide, 21 cm circumference
