Aeráki Shawl
It is named after the colorway created by robledalmohair, as it seems so appropriate to the feeling I had when I first saw the gorgeous yarn. In fact, the dyer seems to have captured the light and colors of the Greek summer sky and the feeling is so airy, words can’t describe.
This crescent shaped shawl is worked from the top-downwards. Increases take place on both edges of every RS row, as well as on both edges of WS row. When on the RS, you add 4 new stitches. When on the WS you add 2 new stitches. This makes the shawl extra-wide very quickly and then you get to work the lace part and the
short-rows part that will add depth to your project. You will find both parts are very easy to work.
In fact, any adventurous beginner can knit this shawl! Hope you enjoy knitting and wearing your Aeráki!
