Pattern introduction
The Aggie Cardigan is a chunky weight cardigan with a round-neck and chunky ribbing band. It is knit top down whereby first you knit the top of the back panel, pick up stitches for the two front panels and join all the pieces at the underarm. The body is the knit as a single piece. The stitches for the arms are picked up and knitted in the round. Lastly the ribbing is added with optional buttons. The pattern is written for a single colour but please see the pattern notes for suggestions on colour work.
