This beautiful triangular shawl features an eye-catching, all-over cable pattern that transitions into a matching ribbed border.
Worked sideways from one tip to the opposite edge makes this shawl fun to knit and easy to wear.

I designed this pattern for worsted weight yarn but since the pattern is fully adjustable, you could easily use a different yarn weight and/or yardage from your stash if you prefer and make it any size you like.

This pattern is an addictive knit with a beautiful result. The finished shawl will add a classic & cosy item to your favourite wardrobe staple.

YARN
Designed for dk to worsted weight yarn in solid/semi-solid colourways. Allow approx. 576 m / 630 yds to get the size of the sample. Pattern is easily adjustable for other weights and/or yardages.
Yarn used for sample: Malabrigo Yarn Rios (worsted weight, 100 g = 192 m / 210 yds), 3 skeins in colourway Valentina (689).

GAUGE & NEEDLES
Not critical for this project but differences will affect yardage requirements and the finished size.
Gauge on sample: 22 sts x 22 rows = 10x10 cm / 4x4“ in main cable pattern after light blocking
Needles used for sample: 5 mm / US 8
