A beautiful lace motif with twisted stitches and bobbles creates this cosy textured triangular shawl.

Dancing in the Sun is a triangular, top-down knit shawl, which makes it fun to knit and easy to wear.

Fully written row-by-row as well as charted instructions are provided so you can choose which you prefer to work from.

This design was created in collaboration with Rosy Green Wool and I had the pleasure of working with their wonderful new Lovely Merino Treat for my sample.

YARN
Designed for dk weight yarn in solid/semi-solid colourways.
Allow approx. 714 m / 782 yds to get the size of the sample.
Yarn used for sample:
Rosy Green Wool Lovely Merino Treat (dk weight, 100%
GOTS-certified organic Merino, 100 g = 210 m / 230 yds),
3.4 skeins (714 m / 782 yds) in colourway “136 Caramel”.

GAUGE & NEEDLES
Not critical for this project but differences will affect yardage requirements and the finished size.
Gauge on sample: 17 sts x 34 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” in garter stitch after light blocking.
Needles used for sample: 4.5 mm / US 7
