Aguas
Ripples of stockinette and double knitting shape this reversible shawl. Lace panels at the sides curve out slightly, almost like a sleeve. The picot edges at top, bottom and fronts are knitted as you go.
This shawl starts with a picot cast-on that uses yarnovers and knit cast-on. The body is worked all in one piece, with 5 pattern sections. The fronts and back are worked in a combination of stockinette, reversed stockinette and double knitting. The side panels are worked in a lace pattern. The shawl ends at the top with a picot bindoff that uses yarnovers and a regular bindoff. Most of the instructions are given as charts.
Shawl is 80” wide at the bottom edge and 28” wide at the top; it is 17” long.
Skills used are standard decreases, knit cast-on, reading charts.
