The Backstory:

My mom has been bugging me to knit a rectangle wrap for her for a while. Just kidding, I was happy to design it for her! We went to Knit New Haven last year and she picked out some navy woolfolk, which I paired with the gorgeous caramel color and a skein of their marled yarn, Sno.

It’s a gorgeous yarn to work with. You’d think it was cashmere, and acts similarly. Of course, this shawl would work with most yarns, and I’ve included adaptations for different weights in the Key! Honestly, it’s a simple and fun knit suitable for any mom, or even dad!

The Notes:

  • US 5 (3.75 mm) 24-32” needle.
  • A clip on stitch marker to mark RS and a darning needle to weave in your ends.
