“Aksak” refers to a particular rhythmic pattern found in the folk music of the Balkans. The name of this broken and irregular rhythm is a good fit for this textured sweater with its repeating and changing pattern, which makes for a stylish, comfortable and warm garment.
Aksak is a sweater for fans of attractive and understated textures. It is knitted in Pennine dk from Laines des Iles, a soft, strong and “round” yarn with a perfect definition for textured stitches.
Aksak is much easier to knit than it looks and is very easy to wear. Pretty details on the ribbing add a delicate touch to the sweater.
The garment is knitted in the round from the top down. Starting with the neckline, the yoke is knitted and then the sleeve stitches are put on hold. Once the body is finished, the sleeves are also worked in the round down to the cuffs.

“Aksak” fait référence à la musique des Balkans, à ses rythmes saccadés et irréguliers. C’est un nom qui correspond bien à ce pullover texturé, dont le motif à la fois répétitif et changeant en fait un vêtement élégant, confortable et chaud.
Aksak est un pullover destiné aux inconditionnels des textures discrètes et jolies. Il est tricoté en Pennine dk de chez Laines des Iles, un fil doux, solide et “rond”, dont la définition de point est parfaite pour les points texturés.
Aksak est bien plus facile à tricoter qu’il n’y parait et se porte très facilement. De jolis détails aux bord-côtes viennent ajouter une touche délicate au pullover.
Le vêtement est tricoté en rond, de haut en bas. En commençant par l’encolure, on tricote le yoke puis les mailles des manches sont mises en attente. Une fois le corps terminé, les manches sont également tricotées en rond jusqu’aux poignets.
