This is lovely, flowing, feminine shawl. Made of Knit Picks “Palette”, you have many color choices, although you can use any fingering weight yarn. You will need about 700 yds of the main color (in this case, it’s the pink) and about 450 yds of the contrasting color (in this shawl, it’s the grey). You will use 680 size 6/0 glass beads, Miyuki #451 (same color as cc and 340 size 6/0 glass beads, Miyuki #518 (same color as mc). You’ll need a size US 13/14 steel crochet hook or the smallest size of Fleegle Beader to attach the beads.

This shawl is really beautiful. I named it after my sweet granddaughter, Akyra. It measures 64” along top edge, 93” along bottom edge, 20” deep at center, and 17” deep at outer edges after blocking. This is a great size, very usable. Not too small, not too large.

Directions for the dk weight, larger sized shawl are also included. This shawl is pictured in teal.
