The Alcova Scarf is a classic unisex scarf with a bit of a twist—literally and figuratively. The cables in this handsome scarf are completely reversible and produce a fabric that is nearly identical on both sides. This scarf is visually striking, highly wearable, and widely appealing.

Finished Size 8.5” wide at middle, 11” wide at each end, and 55” long.
Yarn HiKoo Simplinatural (40% baby alpaca, 40% fine merino wool, 20% mulberry silk): #032 first press olive, 4 skeins. Yarn distributed by Skacel.
Needles Size 8 (5 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Cable needle; tapestry needle.
Gauge 32 sts and 24 rows = 4” in K2, P2 Rib, relaxed.
Note This scarf is worked back and forth from end to end. The cables are worked in the rib pattern to create the reversible fabric.
