Like a calm over the winter seas, three soft hues blend seamlessly atop a diagonal garter-ridge pattern, resulting in a shawl that is as textural as it is luxurious. Mix and match your favourite colours or work the simple stitch in a semi-solid for a shawl that is always a joy to knit, wear, and give.

PATTERN NOTES
This shawl is worked with two strands held double and sideways from point to long edge, increasing gradually on one side.
You have two options when working the Body Instructions section.
Option A (perfect for those whose row gauge does not match or for those who want to maximize the full use of their yarn. Divide your 100 g skeins as follows:
MC: 2 balls each weighing 37.5 g
and 1 ball weighing 25 g
CC1: 4 balls each weighing 25 g
CC2: 2 balls each weighing 37.5 g
and 1 ball weighing 25 g
Option B is row-specific for those without access to a kitchen scale, though it is less reliable regarding yardage requirements.
The Diagonal stitch written instructions and chart are provided for swatching purposes only. The Setup Pattern and Body stitch are both written (see Stitches Used) and charted (pages 2-4) for your preference.
