’Alexis’ was named after one of the character of the 2021 Golden Globe award winner for best TV comedy: Schitt’s Creek.

Knit from the top-down seamlessly, this lacy drop shoulder vest is knit with a Worsted weight yarn and a strand of mohair held together. We start by knitting the back piece flat to the underarm. Stitches are picked up to knit the front flat to the underarm as well. Front and back stitches are then joined to knit the body in the round. Stitches are picked up to knit the collar and the arm trims in the round.

This is a quick and satisfying project on large needles.

You will need:

Worsted and lace weight yarns held together.

Approximately (327, 389, 464, 535) (622, 696, 814, 923) metres/ (357, 425, 507, 585) (680, 761, 890, 1009) yards of Worsted weight yarn

And approximately (296, 352, 420, 485) (563, 630, 737, 836) metres/ (323, 385, 459, 530) (616, 689, 806, 914) yards of mohair

Main needle: 6 mm/US 10 circular needle (adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge), 60 cm / 24 inches in length
Smaller needle: 5.5 mm/US 9 circular needle (for collar and trims), 40 cm / 16 inches in length or DPS

Tapestry needle, 1 stitch marker, 2 markers that you can hook, waste yarn (to put sts on hold)

’Alexis’ porte le nom d’un des personnages de la série télévisée canadienne ‘Schitt’s Creek’ qui a récemment gagné le titre de meilleure comédie télévisée aux ‘Golden Globe Awards’.

Tricotée du haut vers le bas et sans couture, cette veste tout en dentelle aux épaules tombantes est tricotée en tenant un fil Worsted et un fil mohair tenus ensemble.
