Family Spring Break vacation to Hawaii Big Island. What could be better?

This shawl is a nod to our week in Kailua-Kona (home of the Ironman Triathlon) on the west coast of the island. It’s to remember our daily walks from our hotel down Ali’i Drive to the shops, restaurants, and a fantastic farmer’s market and seeing all the little beaches along the road and waves cracking on rocky shores. It’s to remind us of nature in all its beauty.

The Ali’i Drive Waves Shawl is a crescent shaped shawl worked from the top down.

When changing color, work the stitch to the last two loops on hook. Finish off the st as normal with the new color.
