This is an airy hooded pullover with a small pocket and a central detail achieved by working 2 strands together. The airy look is achieved by working the yarn on larger needles.
Alishan is named for one of the great mountains of Taiwan, and is also the name of a popular folk song about a Taiwanese aboriginal maiden.
