This pattern originally appeared in Inside Crochet and has now been updated. The original sample was made using Rowan Cashsoft 4 ply which is now discontinued. I have tested a few alternative yarns and both The Fibre Co Cumbria Fingering and Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino will substitute, but any 4 ply or fingering weight will give a similar result - just remember to check your tension!
