Yarn required for the pattern is bulky #5 weight, approximately 170 yards is used, US size L (8mm) crochet hook, three 1-inch buttons, yarn needle and scissors.

I used 170 yards of Lion Brand Color Made Easy yarn (less than one skein), but any #5 bulky weight yarn can be substituted.
