This felted bag is knit all in one piece, using one-row buttonholes to create the handles. Instructions for the felted flower are elsewhere in the book and the finished flower is pinned on. Finished dimensions (after felting) are approximately 13 1/2” wide by 11 1/2” high.

Gauge is not critical to this project, and is much looser than commonly seen for this yarn. The main yarn (Cascade 220) is used doubled throughout, with addition of the accent yarn when used. The pattern calls for three skeins of Cascade 220 - two in main color and one in contrast - plus less than one skein Crystal Palace Fizz for accent to match the CC wool yarn (not included in the yardage requirements.)
