There are no side or sleeve seams and the hood is attached as it is knit. Shaping of the neck line and the hood uses short rows. Finishing requires crocheting the drawstring for the hood, making post-knit button holes in the front band, sewing on the buttons and working in the ends. Other techniques include three-needle bind-off, intarsia and circular knitting. Level of difficulty is for the confident knitter with basic skills or the intermediate knitter.
