This pattern uses:

3 Skeins of Morehouse Gator Yarn (we recommend 2 skeins in a variegated color and one in a solid color for the lining.

Smooth circular #4 or #5, 16” long

Smooth circular #4 or #5, 24” long

Set of double-pointed #3, #4, or #5 for the last few rounds

5 stitches = 1 inch over stockinette stitch

We recommend Chiao stainless steel circular needles to knit the Gator Bag with. A smooth needle is essential, because of the constantly changing number of stitches as you are knitting the bumps—from 90 stitches to over 300.
